The Majestic Colonial is one of the first in a line of new golf resorts opening in
the Punta Cana area of the Dominican Republic. The highlights or the resort are its spectacular

the resort 'Punta Blanca' opened in 2006. Our golf recommendations while staying at the Majestic Colonial include the Punta Blanca course at the hotel, the Punta

in Cap Cana. Both the Cap Cana and La Cana courses are 30 minutes from the Majestic
Colonial and worth the transfer time.
The Majestic Colonial is located on shores of one of the most beautiful beaches
in the world about 30 minutes from Punta Cana international airport. The resort is very much 'Caribbean style' only with colonial touches in
its decoration and well designed facilities. The resort has a total of 659 suites with 542
junior suites with pool or garden views, 24 junior suite ocean fronts which are beach front,
28 colonial junior suites with solarium and outdoor jacuzzi, 50 majestic junior suite with
private garden, outdoor jacuzzi and direct access from the room to the swimming pool, 7
