Anguilla Golf Temenos Golf Club On the west end of Anguilla this new Greg Norman golf course offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean. The beautiful tropical scenery is emphasized from the first hole that features spectular views of St. Marten and the Caribbean Sea to the 18th hole which ascends 40 feet through rugged terrain to the green carved through native shrub. The course will open to the public in December of 2006 and is designed for St. Regis resort guests and property owners. Savannah Bay From designer Jack Nicklaus, this course has a projected opening in 2007 Antigua Golf Cedar Valley Golf Club Designed and built by Ralph Aldridge opened with 9 holes in 1970. The completely constructed 18 holes course opened to the public in 1977. This par 70, 6,157 yard course is fairly conditioned but enjoyable to play. Jolly Harbour Golf Club Designed by leading golf course architect Karl Litton of Florida, this is an established par 71, 18-hole golf course. The course is adjacent to the Jolly Harbour Marina. The fairly conditioned fairways have been sculpted into green hilly landscape and a 5,587 yard layout. Aruba Golf Tierra Del Sol **** Located on the island's northwest tip, this par-71 design by Robert Trent Jones II was Aruba's first world-class golf resort when it opened in 1995. Bring your iron game as the course often plays in very windy conditions with sunny dry weather. The course also manages to couple great course design with a unique celebration of Aruba's wildlife. It's Grand Bahama Island Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort, Lucayan Course *** This 6,824 yard course, designed by Dick Wilson in 1962, places a premium on accuracy. Well-bunkered greens and generous fairways wander through pine tree stands and dense tropical underbrush. A sense of privacy prevails; foursomes rarely see each other during a round. Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort, Reef Course *** This 6,930 yard course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Picturesque lakes on 13 of the 18 holes that make up the course. Large, undulating greens and wide, winding fairways complete the experience on this unique links-style course The Royal Oasis Golf Resort and Casino, Princess Emerald The course is part of the Bahamas Princess Resort and Casino. The Emerald is another Dick Wilson course opened in 1965 and plays at 6,402 from the middle tees. The ninth hole here is sometimes termed the most difficult in the Bahamas. The Royal Oasis Golf Resort and Casino, Princess Ruby The course is part of the Bahamas Princess Resort and Casino. The Ruby was done by Wilson's associate, Joe Lee. It shares the rolling fairways of the Emerald, and thought to be less demanding than its sister course. Fortune Hills Golf Course 9 holes course was designed by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee and is located in Richmond Park. Nassau Paradise Island Cable Beach and Golf The course underwent a complete renovation in late 2002. The challenging, 7,040-yard, par-72 course has lakes and ponds tucked picturesquely throughout. It is affiliated with the Radisson resort. Ocean Club Golf Course *** In 2000, the 1958 Dick Wilson design was obliterated, making room for an oceanfront Tom Weiskopf track that is one of the finest in the Bahamas. This 18-hole, par-72 championship course features meticulous seaside green and tee settings, alternating fairways and breathtaking signature holes stretched over 7,123 yards. South Ocean Golf Course Designer Joe Lee says this is one of his best efforts in the islands. The layout is clever and thought-provoking, especially on the four water holes. The course is not currently open and is under reconstuction. Opening dates for the newly redesigned South Ocean course will by early 2007. Eleuthera Cotton Bay Club A challenging Robert Trent Jones-designed that sits on a 450-acre resort property. The resort has been closed several years, awaiting a return to the grand place it once was. The golf course is open although is awaiting rebirth. It is the work of Ron Kirby, one of the world's most experienced golf course designers and opened in the year 2000. The course is link style and when the trade winds blow holes like the par 4 eleventh are quiet a test. Magnificent trees strategically planted 25 years ago give the golf course a mature ambience with a Caribbean flavor. Two lakes intrude and enhance play on five holes and create a dramatic 'Amen Corner' on holes 15 & 16. A series of coral waste bunkers carved through 4 holes adds to the excitement and personality of the course. Rockley Golf Course Rockley is a pleasant 9 holes course located in the southeastern tip of the island. The course is set among villas, tennis courts and swimming pools. Royal Westmoreland ***** Royal Westmoreland Barbados has been rated #31 in Golf Digest's Top 100 Golf Courses outside of the US. Royal Westmoreland Barbados is a member only club offering preferred play for Sophisticated Golfer clients and guests of our partner hotels and resorts. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr it a course with colossal character and bearing.. The course is placed high up on a former sugar plantation. The holes follow the variations of nature. At nearly 6,900 yards and a par of 72, Royal Westmoreland is famous for it's great par 3 holes which many consider amoung the worlds best. Sandy Lane Barbados, The Country Club **** The Country Club measures 7,060 yards with a rating of 74.7 and par of 72. This challenging course opened in the year 2000 features lush greens, five lakes and lovely open fairways with angled slopes. Most holes offer spectacular Caribbean Sea views, and are shared with the famous Bajan Green Monkeys, which live in the gullies in and around the course. The course is comprised of 5 par threes, 8 par fours, and 5 par fives. Sandy Lane Country Club is part of the world renowned luxury resort of Sandy Lane on the West Coast of Barbados. The Country Club is also the host of the 2006 Barbados World Cup, World Golf Championships professional golf event. Sandy Lane Barbados, Green Monkey *** The dramatic and now famous Green Monkey course at Sandy Lane Barbados was designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2003 after much anticipation. This course was carved out of the quarry formerly located there. The Green Monkey golf course plays 7,389 yards from the back tees and includes what may be the longest par 4 in the world, the 17th hole, a 523-yard monster with water stretching more than 200 yards in front of the tee. Play on the Green Monkey is limited to hotel guests. Sandy Lane Barbados, the Old Nine The original nine holes at Sandy Lane Barbados were constructed in 1961. It is intimate yet challenging. With its tree-lined fairways, it still winds its way magically through the old estate. Belize Golf Caye Chapel Golf Resort Caye Chapel is a secluded resort situated on its own island. The resort has a marina, pool complex, and a long sandy beach. The 18 hole, 7,000 yard golf course requires no tee times for resort guests. Some great views of the Caribbean Sea and Barrier Reef can be found while playing this windy and challenging course. Bermuda Golf Belmont Hills Golf Club *** Belmont Hills is the former Belmont Golf Course and has been completely remodeled and upgraded with 419 Bermuda grass fairways and Tiff Eagle greens and re-opened in June 2003. The U.S.G.A. standard course provides a challenging layout with excellent ocean views and tropical landscaping. Belmont Hills is a Bermuda course that offers a demanding round of golf on a pristine and intensely bunkered layout. Many of the multi-tiered greens overlook Bermuda’s famous turquoise blue sea. Although like many of the golf courses on Bermuda it is rather short at 6,017 yards and a par of 70 it remains challenging and is now is one of the best public courses on Bermuda. Fairmont Southampton Golf Club This 18-hole, par-3 executive course is located on an elevated and scenic setting, and affected immensely by the strong winds off the ocean. It's a great fun to play course for guests of the Fairmont Southampton and Hamilton Princess. Mid Ocean Golf Club *** A challenging and very long course in Tuckers Town, it was renovated in 1953 by Robert Trent Jones. This 18 hole par 71 consistently ranks among the top 50 links in the world. Mid Ocean is a private members only golf club with limited play to specific Bermuda hotel guest available. Ocean View Golf Course This is a 9 hole course on the north shore and very close to the town of Hamilton. It does offer 18 sets of tees and magnificent ocean view holes. It's fun, picturesque, and quick to play. Port Royal Golf Course **** A Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design with some of the most picturesque and dramatic holes in golf, highlighted by the stunning par 3 16th. Jack Nicklaus has ranked Port Royal among the world's best public courses. At 6,561 yards it offers breathtaking ocean views and a challenging layout. Port Royal Golf Course opened for play in 1970, and is more than adequate evidence of the genius of architect Robert Trent Jones. The course provides an ideal test of golf reward for good shots and penalty for bad ones. Playing from the back tees, this par 71 course challenges even the finest players from the first to the 18th hole. Port Royal is a 6,561 yard par 71 but plays like a course well over 7,000 yards. Riddell's Bay Golf and Country Club *** Riddells Bay is Bermuda's oldest course and opened in 1922 designed by Devereux Emmett who shortly afterwards built Congressional Country Club near Washington DC. Tight fairways and small, narrow greens mean that accuracy is the name of the game. Several holes are played by the water between quaint harbour inlets. Winding along a peninsula which at its widest measures only some 600 yards, the 5800 yards of this par 70, 18-hole course offers scenic delights and plenty of challenges, including two ponds and three ocean holes. St. George's Bermuda Golf Course This is a 4, 000 yard par-64 executive type golf course though designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. It is located in the historic Bermuda town of St Georges. The holes offer great views of the ocean and are built around Bermuda's Fort of St Catherine. Tucker's Point Golf *** The former Castle Harbor, its Bermuda's newest championship course opened in 2002 in Tucker's Town. A hotel is due to open in 2007 but at the moment Tuckers Point is a private members only golf club with limited play to specific Bermuda hotel guest available. Cayman Islands Golf Hyatt Britannia A new Jack Nicklaus course located on the grounds of the expansive Hyatt. The course can be played as an executive par-58 or a championship par-71. This experiment of sorts offers a nine hole par 35 layout and an 18 hole executive layout. Jack Nicklaus has created a masterful course for the Britannia Club, reminiscent of the legendary courses such as Royal Troon, Turnberry and Royal Birkdale. Links at Safehaven A Roy Case 18 holes designed championship course that features lots of water holes and often plays with the Caribbean trade winds blowing offshore from all directions. One of the only courses on an island with lots of businessmen golfers, we recommend your make your tee times far in advance. Costa Rica Golf Cariari Country Club *** Located in San Jose this par 71, George Fazio designed course opened in 1974, and is elegantly traditional, playing longer than its 6,590 yards. Heavily treed, with amazing cacti and exotic native plants and stately palms as accents, the premium is on accuracy off the tee. One of the full staff of caddies will help, especially on the greens. Conchal *** The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II, Conchal and stretches to a mighty 7,033 yards from the back markers. Not only does Conchal challenge golfers with its length, it also confronts them with constant elevation changes. Sometimes subtle and sometimes dramatic and the elevation shifts play an integral part of every club selection you make. It is affiliated with the Paradisus Playa Conchal Beach & Golf Resort. Hacienda Pinilla Located in Playa Langosta, Guanacaste, The Hacienda Pinilla golf course is a 7,500-yard Mike Young design. This golf course is groomed to perfection is a lengthy challenge. La Iguana *** Located in Playa Herradura, on the country's Pacific coast at the upscale Los Suenos Resort & Golf Club. La iguana is a 6,700-yard Ted Robinson Jr. design with a unique and dramatic setting at the Los Suenos Marriott. The front nine plunges into the shadow of the rainforest along a narrow river valley. From the hills there is an occasional chorus of howler monkeys and mature trees near the stream are perversely placed. Parque Valle del Sol *** Located in San Jose and designed by Tracey May, this is a par 72 course. The results achieved by May are an outstanding 18-hole championship golf course. The layout is designed to be challenging and fair under most conditions, and downright tough when the winds come swirling down from the surrounding mountains. The rolling hills, mature trees that were part of the original course and the surrounding mountains create a great setting for golf. Garra de Leon *** The golf course at the Paradisus Playa Conchal Beach & Golf Resort was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., and challenges Cariari for the honor of top course in Central America. Hacienda Pinilla This championship course designed by Mike Young is spread over 4,500 acres on the north Pacific coast. Parque Valle del Sol A Tracy May re-design located only 15 minutes from San Jose, the country's capital. The perpetually windy track is the centerpiece of a growing golf community. Curacao Golf Blue Bay Golf and Beach Resort The course is an 18-hole championship course designed by "Rocky" Roquemore with a layout featuring rocky Cliffside holes sprayed by surf. The course opened in 2000 and it plays to 6,735 yards. The layout and oceanfront holes are extraordinary and very beautiful although the course ifs fairly conditioned. Dominican Republic Golf Dominican Republic Southeast Teeth of the Dog at casa De Campo ***** Located at Casa De Campo resort, the course has been ranked as high as 35th in the world and consistently rated as on of the top courses in the Caribbean. Teeth of the Dog has also recently has undergone extensive renovations and will reopen in December of 2005. 7 of the 18 holes on teeth of the Dog front the Caribbean Sea. The course opened in 1971. Dye Fore at Casa de Campo ***** The spectacular new Dye Fore at Casa De Campo, which opened in April 2003. It offers 18 holes running parallel to the Chavon River with a breathtaking view of mountains to the north or the Caribbean Sea to the south. The Links at Casa De Campo **** The Links is another Pete Dye design at Casa De Campo and offers 18 holes located within the resort residential community of Casa De Campo. The Links opened in 1975. La Romana Country Club La Romana Country Club is a private golf course located near the Casa de Campo resort and is not open to the public. This course was built next to the "Teeth of the Dog" and "The Links". Guavaberry Country Club ** Located at the luxurious all-inclusive Coral Costa Caribe Resort & Casino, this Gary Player-designed track is one of the regions newest and most challenging. Guavaberry opened in 2002 and is a par 72 18 holes championship layout. San Andrés Caribe Golf Club Opened in 1993 this nine hole par 36 course located near the beach of Boca Chica with four tee positions. Los Marlins Golf Course Opened in 1995, this 18 holes par 72 golf course is part of a resort/residential golf community located near Juan Dolio called Metro Country Club. Golden Caribe Golf Opened in 2004 this 9 hole par 36 golf course located in La Romana near Casa de Campo, offers 2 waterfront holes interacting with the Caribbean Sea. Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo Area Santo Domingo Country Club A private country club not open to the public This 18 holes course lies near to the city and has extraordinarily well kept greens. Las Lagunas Country Club This course is widely spread over hilly terrain with exuberant vegetation reflected in small lakes. It opened in 1989 and is an 18 holes par 72 golf course. Isabel Villas Country Club This 9 hole par 3 golf course opened in 1997 and offers illumination for night play. Dominican Republic, East Punta Cana Resort and Golf Club **** A P.B. Dye creation that offers Spectacular Ocean views on 14 of the 18 holes. Four of the holes play directly along the ocean and the club also offers a spectacular beachfront club house. The PuntaCana Golf Club opened in 2000 and is part of the Punta Cana Resort and Club. Punta Espada Golf Course **** Punta Espada is the first of three soon to come Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses in the area. Located very near to the Punta Cana resort it is part of the new development called Cap Cana featuring a large residential community, hotel, and marina. The course will feature great ocean and bluff-side holes with beautiful views of the Caribbean. Cocotal Golf and Country ** Coctal offer 27 holes designed between serene lakes and swaying coconut trees. The course is located about 40 minutes from the Punta Cana resort and Club and rests amidst the Palma Real residential community. Golf de Bávaro Opened in 1991, 18 holes par 72 course with alternating holes surrounded by vegetation or by vegetation or by bordering lakes. Cabeza de Toro Golf Club Opened in 2000 18 holes par 72 golf course features five lakes and many shade trees. This short but challenging course is designed for the experienced and novice golfer alike. Dominican Republic, North Coast Playa Dorada Golf Course Opened in 1976 this 18 holes par 72 course is flat, conditioned course with exceptional greens surrounding the 14-hotel Playa Dorada resort complex. Playa Dorado is a Robert Trent Jones Sr. signature course and one of the last courses in the world that he designed. Driving time 15 minutes from Puerto Plata. Playa Grande Golf Course Opened in 1997, this 18 holes golf course has been called the "Pebble Beach" of the Caribbean, with 10 holes interacting with the Atlantic Ocean. Costa Azul Golf Opened in 1990 this 9 holes par 33 is a flat, sprawling 45 acre golf course located between Cabarete Beach and Lagoon. Los Mangos Golf Course Opened in 1986 and redesign in 2001 this 9 holes par 35 plays among tropical fruit trees in this community golf course now primarily being used by Costambar residents. Dominican Republic, Cibao and Samana Bonao Golf Club 9 holes par 3 very short and built for the employees of the Falconbridge mining company. Jarabacoa Golf Club Opened in 1974, 9 holes par 72 is built admist pine trees in this mountain resort area. Las Aromas, Santiago Golf Club Opened in 1980 offers 18 holes par 70 located in a hilly area with lovely panoramic views of Santiago city and Yaque del Norte River. Loma de Chivo Country Club Opened in 1993 it are a 9 holes par 3, flat, sprawling 45 acre golf course located between Cabarete Beach and Lagoon affiliated with the Occidental Gran Bahía Hotel. New Projects Set For the Dominican Republic Rocco Ki Golf Course Nick Faldo's golf course design firm, Faldo Design is in the midst of designing an 18-hole championship standard golf course. The Westin Roco Ki Beach & Golf Resort course is expected to be completed in November 2006. It will be located just 19 miles from the Punta Cana resort and Club. This par-73 course will stretch to 7,118 yards from its championship tees, with approximately 100 bunkers strategically integrated into the natural features of the Caribbean landscape. Punta Blanca Golf Course Punta Blanca is set along the white sand beaches of the Punta Cana/Bavaro coast. The course is located near the new Majestic Colonial Beach Resort Punta Cana. Nick Price has designed this challenging course through natural wetland areas with large waste bunkers built in the tropical vegetation. The course offers various playing options and is planted with Seashore Paspalum grass which prospers in the salt air and has been a key contributor to the overall growth of very well maintained golf courses in the Caribbean. Ocean Signature Course The Ocean Course will be a new courses in the north coast of the Dominican. The course is a Arnold Palmer signature layout and will be located at the pending Atlantica complex near Luperon. Corales Golf Course Tom Fazio is working on this course which will be the second course at the Punta Cana Resort & Club. It is sure to be a tremendous complimente to the PB Dye designed course already there. Guadeloupe Golf Golf de St-François Six of its 18 holes are ringed with water traps, the winds are devilishly unpredictable, and the par is a sweat-inducing 71. This course displays the wit and skill of its designer; Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Just opposite the hotel La Cocoteraie, the golf course spreads its 18 holes over an area of nearly 200 acres. Jamaica Golf Caymanas Golf Club Located just six miles from Kingston, the course was Jamaica's first championship track. The course was designed by Howard Watson and was completed in 1958. This prestigious golf club is a par 72 and measures 6,844 yards. Constant Spring Golf Club This par-70 was designed in 1920 by Scot Stanley Thompson the course currently sits in one of Kingston's nicest residential settings. It's a par 70 and measures 6,094 yards. Cinnamon Hill Golf Club *** This was formerly know as the Three Palms Ocean Course at Wyndham Rose Hall Located east of Montego Bay, this championship course is well known for its short but devilish par-4 eight hole. It's a sporty par 72 6,333 yard course. Sandals Golf and Country Club Located in Ocho Rios, this is arguably one of Jamaica's more scenic golf venues. Super Clubs Golf Club, Runaway Bay John Harris designed this course, situated 42 miles from Montego Bay, in 1960. Tryall Golf, Tennis & Beach Resort Built on former sugar plantation, Tryall was once an LPGA Tour stop and host of the prestigious Johnnie Walker World Championship. White Witch Golf Course *** This Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril-designed layout is located five minutes from the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall and winds through the mountains of Jamaica's historic Rose Hall Plantation. It was completed in 2000 and offers great panoramic sea and mountain views. It's a 6718 yard par 71. Mexican Caribbean Golf Cozumel Country Club **** The first and only golf course on the island of Cozumel and a favorite of golfers arriving via cruise ships is a Jack Nicklaus design routed among coral outcroppings, lagoons and mangrove swamps. A very unique designed and challenging layout with superb facilities opened in 2001. Moon Palace Golf Club Jack Nicklaus, who has designed a plethora of courses in Mexico, opened his latest in 2003 in Cancun. The course, a veritable jungle trek loaded with waste bunkers and water. It is affiliated with the Moon Palace resort. Playacar Club de Golf Located in Playa del Carmen, it is carved out of the dense Mayan jungle. This world-class course features tight fairways, numerous doglegs and a rugged, hilly terrain. Designed by Robert Van Hagge, Playacar plays a long, 7,200 yards with many challenging holes Puerto Rico Golf Puerto Rico North Coast, west of San Juan Club Depotivo del Oeste A semi-private, 9 holes Jack Bender design. This is a hilly nine hole course with panoramic views opened in 1965. The course is expanding to 18 holes to total 6,316 yards. It's located on the extreme west coast of the island. Dorado Del Mar Golf Club Semi-private course designed by Chi Chi Rodriguez in 1998 and measures 6,940 yards. This course was the former site of the Honda Classic and is known for its beautiful dogleg left par five tenth hole which runs along cliffs overlooking the ocean. Dorado Del Mar is close to but not affiliated with the Hyatt Dorado Beach. Dorado Beach Resort and Country Club, East Course **** This classic Robert Trent Jones Sr. Design opened in 1958 and is still the top rated course in Puerto Rico. The course has also recently undergone renovations from the Ray Floyd group. It measures 7,000 and offers several holes playing along the Caribbean Sea. Originally, J.D. Rockefeller commissioned Robert Trent Jones to design both the East and West courses at Dorado for his private use in the 1950's. Today the course remains one of the best in the Caribbean. The course is nine holes and measures 3,030 yards. Punta Borinquen Located at the old Ramey base, this 18 holes course is the most challenging of the military golf courses on the island and is open to the public. It's 6, 869 yards and located in Aguadilla on the far west coast of the island near Aguadilla international airport. Puerto Rico East Coast, east of San Juan Bahia Beach Plantation It was designed by J. Burton Gold in 1991 and is currently the nearest 18 hole course to San Juan. The course was carved out of a coconut plantation and is a semi beachfront course that plays to 6,608 yards. Berwind Country Club A private course that welcomes daily fee guests, it was developed by Bob Holoman in 1969. It is located east of Loiza. The course is routed through a former coconut plantation and plays to 7,011 yards. Coco Beach Golf and Country Club *** Designed by Tom Kite with Bruce Besse, this Oceanside 36 holes complex is unique in that offers 4 different nine holes layouts. The nines are divided into wetland and ocean nines opened in 2003 and Mountain and lake nines opened in 2004. The Coco beach is affiliated with the Paradisus Puerto Rico resort. El Conquistador Resort & Country Club **** A 1994 Arthur Hills designed course located in the heart of Fajardo. This par 72 gem boasts some of the greatest views in Puerto Rico with over 200 feet in elevation change from start to finish. The course plays 6,662 yards and is affliated with the Wyndham resort. Roosevelt Roads Golf Club Open only to club member and members of the military and their guests. It nine holes measure 3,398 yards. Westin Rio Mar Beach Resort and Golf Club, River **** The Westin is home to this championship courses designed by Greg Norman in 1997. This Norman's was his first design in the Caribbean and is a 6,931 yard marriage of the dense swath of tropical land that runs along the Mameyes River and Normans own vision. It is an exciting course that maximizes the aesthetic gifts of the land. Westin Rio Mar Beach Resort and Golf Club, Ocean **** The Ocean course was designed by George and Tom Fazio in 1975 when premium resort golf was only beginning to spring up around the Caribbean. This creation was in the later years of the uncle-nephew architecture team, before Tom would branch out on his own to become on of the preeminent architects of today. The 6,782-yard course, like many great resort courses, follows a dramatic trajectory in design before building to a climactic close Puerto Rico South of San Juan Aguirre Golf Club The nine-hole course in Salinas was designed in 1928 and was part of a sugar plantation, making it the oldest on the island of Puerto Rico. It measures 3,093 yards. Caguas Real Golf Club Designed by John Sanford it is set amidst beautiful lush vegetation and wide open spaces. The back nine has elevation changes of over 100 feet and the front nine plays over lakes and lengthy fairways the course opened in 2004 and measures 6,900. Coamo Springs Golf and Tennis Club The 18-hole Ferdinand Garbin design is located in the southern hills above the town of Coamo. It is a par 72 and measures 6,647 yards. It is part of a planned private community meandering through the golf course. Coamo Springs is located about in the south part of the island near Costa Caribe Golf Club. Costa Caribe Golf Club Costa Caribe opened in 2005 and was designed by Bruce A. Besse, Jr. Its 27 holes are located in southern Puerto Rico and feature Puerto Rico's first and only island green. The development and golf course overlooks Ponce's crystal Caribbean waters and rugged, majestic mountains. Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club is affiliated with the Hilton Ponce & Casino. El Legado Golf Resort This par 72 course omits a thirteenth hole for superstitious reasons and finishes on the nineteenth hole. It is designed by legendary golfer Chi Chi Rodriguez and opened in 2005 to a yardage of 7,405. It's located due south of San Juan near Palmas Del Mar, about 60 minutes drive. Flamboyan Course at Palmas del Mar Golf Club ***** Rees Jones developed this resort course and it opened in 1999. This long and demanding course rates as the second best course in Puerto Rico and measures 7,117 yards. There are natural wetlands, meadows, trees, streams and, of course, the magnificent Caribbean Sea. The oceanfront breezes provide constantly changing conditions and there are serval holes along side the sea. Palmas Del Mar is located about 60 minutes from San Juan. Palms Course at Palmas del Mar Golf Club ***** Gary Player left his mark in Puerto Rico in 1974 with this resort course in Humacao. It is slightly shorter then its sister course but demands accuracy off the tee. The Palms Course is an absolute gem that hosted the 1995 Shell's Wonderful World of Golf. Palmas Del Mar is located about 60 minutes from San Juan. St. Kitts & Nevis Golf Four Seasons Resort Course *** Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course offers splendid views of Nevis as well St. Kitts across the Caribbean. It opened in 1991, plays to 6,682 yards with par of 71, and is affiliated with the beautiful Four Seasons resort in Nevis. Overall this course ranks as one of the top in the entire Caribbean Royal St. Kitts Golf Club **** Designed by Tom McBroom, this 6,900-yard, par 71 courses is affiliated with the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & the Royal Beach Casino. The greens consist of sea shore paspalum grass and the course is extremely scenic and well conditioned. The course originally opened in 1976 and was under construction for renovation with all 18 holes re opening in 2004. Golden Rock Golf Club A nine hole course good for a second play while on the island of St kitts. St. Lucia Golf St. Lucia Golf and Country Club *** This beautiful and challenging Par 71, 6,829 yd. facility gives the professional, amateur or novice golfer more fun and relaxation than can ever be imagined. The course plays much longer then its yardage and is currently the only 18 holes course on the island. Sandals St. Lucia This picturesque golf course is a challenging 9 hole, par 33 course located on the grounds of the Sandels resort. The Pointe at Cas en Bas Jack Nicklaus has begun development on a signature course located in Point Hardy with a projected opening in 2007. The unusual blend of waste areas and a variety in the sizes of the greens combined with the trade winds that are usually present. Waterloo Golf Course Nine holes, beachside course in Grand Turk, built adjacent to the British Governor's House. U.S. Virgin Islands Golf Buccaneer Golf Course Located in Gallows Bay, St. Croix, the newly renovated course offers panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, with St. Thomas and St. John on the horizon. Carambola Golf Course *** Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed this internationally acclaimed championship course on the northeast side of St. Croix. Its Bermuda grass fairways and greens are modestly conditioned although the course is challenging and make for a good straightforward test of golf typical of Robert Trent Jones. Mahogany Run Golf Course *** St. Thomas' Mahogany Run is a challenging course designed by George and Tom Fazio with small greens and tight fairways. Mahogany Run features three of the most spectacular ocean front holes in the world. The 13th and 14th and 15th holes at Mahogany Run known as the Devils Triangle are simply spectacular.
